Career / Residential Caregiver

Shekinah Glory Home Care residential habilitation staff will provide supervision and specific training activities that assist the resident to acquire, maintain or improve skills related to activities of daily living. Our service will focus on personal hygiene skills, such as bathing, and oral hygiene: homemaking skills such as food preparation, vacuuming, and laundry: and social and adaptive skills that enable the resident to reside in the community. This training is provided in accordance with a formal implementation plan, developed by the provider with direction from the resident, and reflects the residents' goals from the current support plan.

Staff must assist with the following:

 
  • Ensure that all State policies and guidelines are adhered to.
  • Use problem-solving skills to deal with situations that may arise.
  • Ensure that the Administrator is kept abreast of issues that arise that require additional support.
  • Assist with required medication to residents.
  • To assist with the personal needs of the resident.
  • Participate in all required meetings, training, and professional development
  • Assist with required personal grooming.
  • Adhere to all home Local, State, and Federal, requirements.
  • Ensure that all resident's required program plans are implemented and documented as required.
  • All general cleaning and task are completed on schedule.
  • The position is a split shift

Our service is provided primarily in our licensed residential facility, However, some activities associated with daily living generally supervise and ensure general safety and the well-being of all residents by following all state, local, and federal guidelines.
